Technical project manager

Do you have technical expertise, strong leadership skills and a passion for innovation? Do you have project management experience and are you driven to coach a team? As technical project manager (TPM) / cooperating R&D team coach, you play a key role in our R&D department and contribute directly to our innovative roadmap.
What will you do?
In this versatile role, you will be both technical project manager and collaborative team coach within the R&D department. You combine hands-on technical skills with excellent project management and work closely with the product owner and ceo. Your mission: ensuring product quality, strong team dynamics and successful realisation of projects.
Your main tasks:
Project management and technical coordination

- Plan, organise and supervise technical projects, together with the product owner and ceo.
- Prioritise and deliver hardware and software products on time according to product strategy and deadlines.
- Monitor project progress and resolve potential bottlenecks through a clear product/project roadmap.
- Manage and evaluate product testing processes, including approval of new products and changes.
- Participate in the fortnightly Change Advisory Board to align strategic choices and priorities.
- Research and coordinate external products and solutions, including supporting technical project leaders and engineers on implementations.
Cooperating team coach

- Function as a collaborative foreman and coach for the R&D team with a focus on support, guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Develop team members technically and professionally, focusing on 3rd-line service queries (tickets) and breakdown services.
- Support team members in new product implementations and data centre management.
- Coordinate 3rd-line service, including preparation of back-up plans for fault resolution (24/7), in collaboration with the Service team coach.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers (healthcare organisations and ICT partners).
- Contribute to ICT security (experience in this direction is an advantage).
- Participate in the four-weekly core team meeting.

- Ensure knowledge transfer and safeguard technical expertise within the team.
- Critically evaluate and test new hardware and software products.
- Function as a liaison between the team and other departments, with clear communication on project statuses, risks and areas for improvement.
What do we ask of you?
Technical and management skills

- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and tools such as JIRA, Trello or Microsoft DevOps.
- Knowledge of hardware and software development, including modern cloud platforms (Google Cloud/MS Azure).
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with experience in managing deadlines and priorities.
