Together, they have developed a concept that meets the desire for more freedom for clients and more time for care professionals.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Smart wandering detection and resident access<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>USE cases\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.omring.nl\/locatie\/wonen-brink-julianadorp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Omring De Brink<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Omring De Brink is a <a href=\"https:\/\/vanbreda.nl\/en\/solutions\/access-and-wander-detection-system\/\">smart wander detection and access system<\/a> implemented. This system allows the resident to walk freely through the building and possibly the garden as well. When the resident enters an unsafe area, a message with location indication of the resident automatically goes to the care professional.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The following use cases have been implemented:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The resident may walk freely through the property and possibly into the garden.<\/li>\n<li>Does the resident enter an unsafe area? Then a message with location indication of the resident will automatically go to the healthcare professional.<\/li>\n<li>The resident may go to the toilet within his\/her own night profile and read a newspaper on the chair during the night.<\/li>\n<li>Does the resident leave his\/her bed and not arrive at the toilet or back in bed on time? Then a message goes to the care professional.<\/li>\n<li>The healthcare professional can then use <a href=\"https:\/\/vanbreda.nl\/en\/solutions\/video-incident-detection-system-2-0\/\">the image sensor<\/a> take a look in and thus does not disturb the resident's nightly pattern.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This innovative approach has led not only to more freedom for residents, but also to more efficient work for care professionals.
