What will you do?

Van Breda has developed one of its main healthcare applications in Python (Django) and C#, running on the Google Cloud platform. You will initially be working on extending the code in Python, also using the Django framework, running in a Kubernetes environment. The care application communicates with Android applications and the Van Breda care management system (proprietary development). You will be involved in working out and realising various developments around this product.

The future is up to you! In the near future, your position will also require you to do more work on our Azure platform with C# based on a serverless architecture. We have experts on staff who can provide you with excellent assistance with this! Van Breda gives you every opportunity for personal development where possible according to your expertise and personal wishes.

You will work within the R&D department and, together with a team of enthusiastic and dedicated specialists, you will work on developing residential care technology. You will learn many new techniques and actively contribute to new products that are currently being developed for Van Breda's future.

What do we ask of you? 

  • You work and think at college or university level in the direction of Computer Science
  • You have several years of experience as a developer.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud architecture, Kubernetes, Python (and Django).
  • Optionally desired: C#, Azure.
  • You live no more than 1 hour's travel from our office in Brummen.
